My dear friend

Bhabhijan, your entry into my life as my brother's bride, more than four decades way back, actually brought me a new friend. I always remember you for your warmth and ever smiling face, warmth towards me and my children.

We both shared more than just a family ties - we shared experiences, secrets, laughter, aspirations and dreams.

We had quiet moments too when we shared our hopes and fears.

Above all we both cherished our family gatherings, the plannings for festivals

Now your absence has created a gaping hole,

Still finding it hard to accept that you are not amongst us any more

As I always remember you, cherishing those memories, i am filled with gratitude for the time we shared.

Though you are no longer here, your memory stays

A bitter sweet reminder of joyous, bygone days.

I am sure your legacy lives on through the countless lives you touched during your time here.
