My dearest Momsie, soon it will be 2 months since you left us for your heavenly abode.
Last weekend Ridhaan turned twelve. It is the first year that you arent here to wish him

So many precious moments he had with you. I am glad we captured some of them so we can look back sometimes & remember the happy times.
Though we lived continents apart you & Ridhaan still had a strong bond. A bond over cutting vegetables & salads, love for evening walks & open-air autos in Elamanchili... enjoying the simple joys in life. I remember when you broke your wrist, and were finally able to come out of the house for a walk, Ridhaan was so happy that you were up again!
Always the teacher, even a day before you passed you tried to teach him something in Hindi grammar. Even through your pain & confusion. It will be a memory I hold close in my heart. Your loss has hit him hard, but he tries his best to move forward.
Do you remember the time he jumped from the balcony on the first floor to the ground? Almost gave you a heart attack :-D And how much you laughed telling the neighbors about it
Or when he "helped" you at school by ensuring the students had all worn the school uniform properly, including belts & shoes. How amazed you would be everytime he found a some new feature/ corner on the school premises, walking around with you.
I cannot talk to you momsie, I wish I could.
I cannot visit you, I wish I could..
I write with the hope that maybe somehow you can read this msg., and know that you are loved & missed every single day. I write so I can somehow capture & lock the warmth of your hugs & the sound of your voice.
As Ridhaan grows older, he will always carry a piece of your love, of who you were & what you meant to us. I will remind him how insanely proud you were of him , and how much you loved him.
You were an awesome Grandmother Momsie.
